Sanyu's World is Going to the Carnival for Spring Break

I’m so excited to be going to the carnival next week as a vendor. My grandparents moved to Lake Los Angeles last March so this will be our first time attending. We have participated in a number of events held at Sorensen Park in Lake Los Angeles and we always have a blast.

Sanyu attended her first event at American Legion Post 311 on September 20, 2020. This was after a successful day at Sol Plaza Boutique.

American Legion Post 311 held a flea market last month. It was a great opportunity because vendors are able to sell whatever they want.

Sanyu sold her original artwork, GabbyBows, and of course the fresh juice from Food For My Babies made with her six-year-old brother Ali.

Sanyu was a vendor at the first annual MLK Celebration event at Sol Plaza in Lancaster, California. This was Sanyu’s first vendor event. During the event, Sanyu sold her Gabby Bows as well as homemade slime, candles and body scrubs as well as a few items from her mom’s vintage shop African Spiced Kids.

Sanyu will be headed back to Sol Plaza this week for a Black History Month celebration event hosted by AV Kwanzaa Committee.
